All the information about the HPDP 250k motors has been moved to the HPDP page.

October 22, 1999

Lockheed-Martin has released some information about the 250K HPDP motor firing and the sounding rocket they are planning to launch next year, plus.  The sounding rocket will be designed and built by the hybrid rocket division of Lockheed-Martin Michoud Space Systems which is located at NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility.

October 20, 1999

Fabio Liccardo has informed HybridGuy of the first firing of a hybrid rocket motor at the Dipartimento di Scienza e Ingegneria dello Spazio in Naples. Their webpage should be updated soon to show photos.

July 17, 1999

Hybrids are about to break into the sounding rocket market. Read the NASA press release. This will be a big rocket: 50,000 lb thrust. It will make the Hyperion sounding rocket look like something out of an Estes catalog.
